McLaughlin Studios is throwing a Valentine’s Sweetheart Dance that’s less “stuffy ballroom” and more “let’s eat dessert first.” Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 15, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM (doors swing open at 6:30 PM). This shindig is part of our Valentine’s Day Guide 2025—check the guide for more ways to celebrate, then circle back here for glitter, giggles, and a sugar rush.
Where to Park Your Dancing Shoes
📍 3470 Swetzer Road, Loomis, CA
No need for GPS coordinates—just follow the sound of laughter and the smell of freshly baked cookies.
Dress Code: Think “Fancy-ish”
Pink and red? Strongly encouraged. Ball gowns and tuxedos? Optional. Jeans with a sparkly top? Absolutely yes. Come as you are, but throw in a little flair—this is Valentine’s Day, after all.
Dessert First, Dancing Second
The menu is simple: sweet treats, coffee, and enough sugar to power a dance marathon. Think heart-shaped cookies, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and maybe a surprise or two (we won’t spoil it). Pro tip: Skip dinner.
Why You Shouldn’t Sit This One Out?
- All ages welcome: Bring your toddler, your grandma, or your skeptical teenager.
- No partner? No problem: Come solo and make friends on the dance floor.
- $10 suggested donation: Every dollar supports the family of Analee, a beloved member of our community.
We need a headcount to avoid a dessert disaster. Reserve here to save your spot—and maybe an extra brownie.
While You’re Here…
Pop into our studio store! Grab a Nutcracker-themed ornament, a cozy hoodie (size up—trust us), or a polo shirt that says, “I dance, and I’m classy.” Store hours: Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM.
Final Boss Level of Fun
Live music? Check. Space to twirl? Check. A room full of neighbors ready to laugh at their own dance moves? Double-check. Whether you’re here for the cupcakes, the cha-cha, or just to people-watch, this night’s about celebrating love in all its forms.
Tag your dance partner (or your cookie-loving BFF) and spread the word. See you on the floor! P.S. This isn’t a dating event… but we won’t stop you if you lock eyes over the punch bowl.
